Move over Hasselhoff, We are big in Turkey

Don't Chase The Weather

We just finished a crazy eight weeks that saw non stop travel to just about everywhere. Now we have a few weeks at home before heading east again. Speaking of the east coast we spent four days last week in the Florida Keys shooting a campaign for Columbia Sports Wear. We got very lucky with the weather, Here is what it was looking like the night before the shoot. Forecasts were horrible, but someone once told me, you can’t chase the weather. The next day was perfectly clear and proved to be a window between two hurricanes that allowed us to get the shots we needed.

So I got some visuals, here is a shot for our fun campaign for CA with Michael Strahan as well as a magazine cover from a piece running about our studio in Turkey. Looking forward to some FOOTBALL!!!

Because it doesn’t get any more random…

15 Aug

We recently set out on a completely unique assignment to photograph some very interesting people. The nature of the assignment at this point in time needs to remain under wraps, but I can share one of the most random thank you notes I have every received. It is certainly going in a frame on our wall of random assignment memorabilia.

Now if that is not enough for you, how about a dog, that surfs! We recently went to Hawaii to photograph Bugsy, the surfing pug for a Reader’s Digest cover. It was great assignment, to say the least. It was pretty amusing chasing this dog around Waikiki.

The past six weeks have been very rough with a ton of travel, including trips to NYC, Chicago, DC, Dallas, SF, and Beijing. This past week we were able to stay in San Diego and shoot a piece for Newcastle Brown Ale. Nice staying local for a change.

I Love New York

09 Jul

We just finished three days in NYC working with Computer Associates and Michael Strahan. Fun shoot, and even though it was blazing hot in NYC (103 degrees), I still had an amazing visual adventure. I was able to cruise around the city shooting for a couple of evenings. It was great for the mind and I am newly inspired by the change of background. We are now off to DC then to Dallas and SF for a very, very interesting series of shoots that will surprise you. Stay tuned for those! Our train stop is minutes away so be on the look out for something new and surprising, in about a week! Here is an image from NYC and some recent new work you might like to see. Arriving in Baltimore, got to run.

World Cup McDonald’s Images and New Work

11 Jun

How awesome is it to wake up for work and have a world class sporting event to eat breakfast with? Explaining to my 4 year old why Scooby Doo got shelved for men kicking a ball around did not go over well, but she will be 8 the next time soccer is on so I figure I can Jedi mind trick into thinking it’s okay.

That being said we did some work for McDonald’s for a World Cup Poster so I thought I’d post that image and some other new work we finished this week, enjoy.

Rock Fans Shoot

04 Jun

Hope you enjoy this one, we recently shot a little faux rock concert up in LA, I’ll let the images and the time lapse speak for me. The time lapse is quick and dirty, there was not a ton of down time as you can see from the video but its pretty funny, look for some hidden gems in there. Its pretty funny to see the chaos of 12 hours in 3 minutes. Enjoy the images!
