So we shot Troy Polamalu for Head and Shoulders this summer. An NDA kept us from talking or sharing about the shoot until recently. You’ve seen the ads on T.V. during football games as well as when you go to yahoo or any other portal these days. Troy was a great, one of the nicest athletes we have worked with. You’d never guess he is one of the most fierce bawlers when it comes to Sundays. I had some time this week to look at the images again. Here is one I pulled out from the shoot. I’m dreading the up coming game verse the Ravens. He kills Baltimore every time.
We also have been working on TYR retouching, as well as finishing the retouching on our ADIDAS golf campaign. The ADIDAS folks rock and it has been a pleasure working with them. Here is one image we just finished from TYR. Enjoy. Still looking for more visual blogs, send me some it you got um…..I was sent one pretty cool one, Check this one out; http://mysplitsecond.com/

Nice!
I’m pretty sure it’s illegal in Texas to root for the Steelers but I’ve always admired Troy as both a person and an athlete. Your visual and verbal descriptions line up with my impression of him pretty well.
I love the rim lighting in both of these compositions. The way the background stadium lights appear to be responsible for them in the TYR image is just solid. You and your crew certainly know how to pull a shot together from beginning to end Tim. Thanks for another visual treat, (or should I say feast?). There is a lot here to savor.
